MLA Eileen Clarke attended MacGregor’s Victoria Place – a community-based and community-supported assisted living facility – The new Place held its grand opening on Friday September 16, 2016. Victoria Place, a 16-unit complex, will offer assisted living for low-to-moderate income seniors from the area who wish to remain closer to home, according to a joint release from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. and the Manitoba government.
Local Farmery Estate Brewery held an open house on Sunday September 25, 2016 at their Neepawa brewing location. A local band “Swamp Gas” provided entertainment, food was brought in by caterers and of course there were brew samples available. The open house was a full house and a huge success.
